MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

WARNING:
When servicing generator/engine components, the DC power must be turned off using either the DC
breaker or the battery swItch.
NOTE:
Use the engine hour meter gauge to log your engine hours or record your
engine hours by running time.

and lubricate. Clean and lubricate the starter motor
pinion drive.

2000): The electronic components in the Digital Diesels draw a very small amouJtt of amperage (milli-amps)!rom the
generator's starting battery when the unit is in a static state. This maybe as much as 50 miUi-amps!or the system ECU and 50 mitli-amps/or each display.
This can be as much as 72 amp-hours' in a months time with no generator use. It is
no~
necessary to be concerned with this slight amperage draw
dltring~
normal seasonal use. However, iflhe generator set is not to be usedfor a number a/months, stich as winter storage, it is best to disconnect the DC power
to the generator with a NMEA-2000 system or shut off the
DC
breaker

the generator's control box/or a WESTERLlNK system.

Keep ill mind that the Westerbeke generator may be the DC power supply for the vessel's NMEA-2000 network,
