This chart tells you when to use each setting. It also explains what burners heat up for
each setting.
SETTING
BAKE
Use this setting for baking
and heating casseroles.
BROIL
Use this setting for broiling
regular-sized and smaller
cuts of meat, poultry, and
fish.
CONVECTION BAKE
(some models)
Use this setting for foods
which require gentle heat-
ing and for baking breads
and cakes. Use also when
baking large quantities of
food on more than one
oven rack.
CONVECTION BROIL
(some models)
Use this setting for broiling
thick cuts of meat.
CONVECTION ROAST
(some models)
Use this setting for roast-
ing and baking on one
rack.
