Internal Buzzer (SPEAKER)

The Internal Buzzer (SPEAKER) is
used to provide audible indications for
various beep codes. See the table on
the right for pin definitions.

Speaker (JSPK)

On the JSPK header, Pins 3~4 are
used for the internal speaker. Close
Pins 3~4 with a jumper or cap to use
the onboard speaker. If you wish to
use an external speaker, remove
the jumper and attach the external
speaker's cable to Pins 1~4. See the
table on the right for pin definitions.

Internal Battery (BAT)

The Internal Battery (BAT) is used to
provide battery backup to the CMOS,
so the motherboard does not lose its
configuration when the system is off.
