Activation of assistance service calls
depends upon the cellular telephone
being operative and electrical power
being properly supplied to it.
Therefore, it may not be available in
the case of accidents or damage to the
vehicle.
Switching the system on and off
AUTOMATIC SWITCHING ON: starting
the engine (key on MAR).
MANUAL SWITCHING ON: press the
left-hand knob (16).
AUTOMATIC SWITCHING OFF: turning
the key to STOP (engine stops).
Switching off delayed for 20 minutes if
a destination has been entered or if
the system was switched on manually
with the engine off.
MANUAL SWITCHING OFF: press the
left-hand knob (16).

MONITOR BLANKING: press the MAIN
key (17) at length.
MONITOR REACTIVATION: press the
MAIN key (17) briefly.
MONITOR SCREEN BRIGHTNESS
ADJUSTMENT: display the main page
(MAIN key (17), press the right-hand
knob (22) and select the "Setup"
function.

FUNCTION SELECTION: turn the right-
hand knob (22).

press the right-hand knob (22).

NEW SETTINGS: select and confirm

Volume adjustment
RAISING THE VOLUME: turn the left-
hand knob (16) in a clockwise
direction.
LOWERING THE VOLUME: turn the
left-hand knob (16) in a counter-
clockwise direction.
RADIO OFF: press the AUDIO key (18)
at length.
RADIO ON: press the AUDIO key (18)
briefly.
TELEPHONE VOLUME ADJUSTMENT:
turn the left-hand knob (16) during the
telephone call.
NAVIGATOR VOICE MESSAGE VOLUME
ADJUSTMENT: turn the left-hand knob
(16) during the voice message and if
necessary, press the REP key (24) to
have the information repeated and to
adjust the volume.
NAVIGATOR VOICE MESSAGE MUTING
(NAV MUTE): press the NAV key (20).
NAVIGATOR VOICE MESSAGE ON press
the NAV key (20).
