Menu Items for the Disc Navigation

After pressing MENU on the disc navigation screen, you can use following functions.
BD
Function
Editing
Scene lock
Information
display
Creating a
playlist
Initialization
Protection
Unprotection
Remaining

Finalization
Unfinalization
Repeat play
Slide show
*1 You cannot combine scenes or divide a movie.
*2 Deletion only.
*3 Additional recording can be made on a finalized DVD-RW (VR mode).
DVD
You can delete unnecessary
*1 *2
scenes, combine scenes, or
divide one scene.
You can lock any scene so that it
will not be deleted by mistake.
You can display information on one
scene or multiple scenes, such as
image quality, recording time, etc.
You can create an original
movie by changing the
playback order of scenes.
You can delete all data recorded
on the HDD/BD/DVD/Card.
You can protect a disc to
prevent deletion or editing by
mistake.
You can cancel the protection. p.72
The remaining recordable
movie time or number of
recordable stills is displayed.
You can use this camcorder to
finalize any BD-RE/BD-R/
DVD-RW/DVD-R disc
*3
recorded on it so that the disc
can be viewed on another
compatible BD/DVD player
or device.
You can unfinalize a BD-RE/
DVD-RW (VF mode) that was
finalized on this camcorder so
that additional videos can be
recorded on the disc.
You can play back scenes
repeatedly.
You can play back stills in
succession.
