Buttons that are not designated as type Line or DND are dynamically assigned as type BLF or Speed. BLF
members receive a higher priority when filling unused buttons. Free buttons remaining after placing all
members from BLF groups are assigned using the Speed.n parameters in ascending order using the value
of n.
Table 5 below
shows the parameters that must be configured for each line key type.

The line key number is designated by the value of z in the Associated Parameters listed in
Table 5. Replace z with 1 through 6 when configuring an IP 706 phone and 1 through 12
when configuring an IP 712 phone.
