  • Page 12 If the lithium battery is replaced incorrectly, there is a risk of explosion. Batteries must only be replaced with types that are identical or that are recommended by the manufacturer.     The memory modules are organized in 3 channels with 2 slots each per CPU. Channels A-C are controlled by CPU 1, and channels D-F are controlled by CPU 2. x4 or x8 organized registered (RDIMMs) or unbuffered (UDIMMs) memory modules with ECC are supported. Technical Manual D2861 (BX922 S2)

    Always start by populating the main memory at CPU 1. If CPU 2 is installed, the following applies: – For CPU 2, there must be at least one DIMM module (DIMM 1D) installed. – The DIMM slots must be fitted in the following sequence: Technical Manual D2861 (BX922 S2)
