Checking System Troubles

Your system emits a trouble tone and blinks the OK light to alert you to
system trouble events, such as low batteries. Use this feature to learn
what is causing the trouble and what steps to take to correct it.
1.
Make sure your system is off (On light is off). If there is a system
trouble, the Trouble tone sounds and the OK light blinks.

Press the [4] key. Lights 1 through 6 may turn on, depending on
the nature of the trouble. The following explains the meaning of
the lights:

Pressing the [CLEAR] key returns the system to the off display.
What It Means
Fire-Point Trouble. Hold the [1] key to see which
points are in trouble.
Non-Fire Point Trouble. Hold the [2] key to see which
points are in trouble.
Power Trouble. Power to the system is off. System is
operating on battery only.
Communication Fail. Check the telephone line.
Service Required. Call your alarm company.
Alarm Memory. Hold the [6] key to view the points
that were in alarm.
