Switching a coded unit on after disconnection from the bat-
tery power supply
If you switch on a coded unit after having disconnected it from the battery power
supply (for instance, after having carried out a repair to the vehicle), a query will
appear requesting that you enter the code.
To enter the code number, proceed as follows:
use the right knob/pushbutton ; to highlight the first digit of the code,

press the right knob/pushbutton ;.

The code input cursor jumps one position to the right.

Now select the second digit in the code and confirm your choice using
the right knob/pushbutton ;.

Enter the remaining digits of the code in the same way.
If you entered a wrong digit by mistake,
symbol and press the right knob/pushbutton ; or

Once you have finished entering the whole code number,

highlight the
symbol and confirm your choice using the right knob/
pushbutton ;.
The unit switches on. If you inadvertently entered and confirmed the wrong code,
you can repeat the code entry procedure. To prevent thieves from finding out
the code number by trial and error, the unit will be locked for one hour if the code
is entered incorrectly three times. The unit must remain switched on for one
hour before you can try entering the code again. If the unit is disconnected from
the power supply during this waiting period, the countdown will be reset and the
waiting period will be set to one hour again.
