ADJUSTING THE VERTICAL
HEADLIGHT BEAM
To rapidly check the correct direction of the
beam, place the vehicle on flat ground, 10
m away from a wall.
Turn on the low beam, sit on the vehicle
and make sure that the beam projected on
the wall is slightly under the horizontal line
of the headlight (about 9/10th of the total
height).

To adjust the headlight beam:
Unscrew and remove the three screws
(1) securing inner cover (2).
Remove front fairing inner cover (2).
CAUTION
H a n d l e t h e p l a s t i c a n d p a i n t e d
c o m p o n e n t s w i t h c a r e a n d a v o i d
scraping or damaging them.
CAUTION
Upon disassembly and reassembly,
check the position of inner cover (2)
and make sure that it is properly seated
on the front fairing.

Working on the rear left side of the front
fairing, adjust the appropriate screw (3)
b y m e a n s o f a s h o r t c r o s s - t i p
screwdriver.
By SCREWING IT (clockwise), you set
the beam upwards.
By UNSCREWING IT (anticlockwise),
you set the beam downwards.
