Apply a layer of heat-resistant gasket

material on the area where the exhaust
silencer is coupled to the exhaust
manifold.

REMOVING THE FRONT FAIRING

Position the vehicle on the stand, p. 38
◆
(positioning the vehicle on the stand).
Position the ignition switch on ≈ ≈.
◆
Unscrew and remove the two side
◆★
screws (1).
Unscrew and remove the two upper
◆★
screws (2).
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, moderately tighten
screw (2) because it is fixed on plastic.

Slightly move forward front fairing (3).

Disconnect wiring connector (4).
◆
Remove the front fairing (3) complete
◆
with headlight.
CAUTION
Upon reassembly, make sure wiring
connector (4) is properly connected.
