Error Messages

Indication Meaning
You can only read the music file.
Error 1
It can not be saved.
An error occurred during writing. The external media may be corrupted.
Error 2
Insert other external media and try again. Alternatively, you can initialize the external media.
No external media is inserted.
Error 10
Insert the external media and try again.
There is not sufficient free memory in the save destination.
Error 11
Either insert other external media or delete unneeded files and try again.
An error occurred during reading. The external media may be corrupted.
Error 14
Insert other external media and try again. Alternatively, you can initialize the external media.
Error 15
The file is unreadable. The data format is not compatible with the HP508.
Data was not called up in time for playback of the song.
Error 16
After waiting several seconds, you may be able to play back the song by pressing the [
This audio format is not supported.
Error 18
Please use 44.1 kHz 16-bit linear WAV format audio files.
Error 30 Internal memory capacity of the HP508 is full.
The HP508 cannot deal with the excessive MIDI data sent from the USB MIDI.

Reduce the amount of MIDI data sent to the HP508.
A MIDI transmission error has occurred.

Check the connected MIDI device.
