Printer Setup
Printer Maintenance is divided into three separate sub-modules.
•
Printer Control Codes - Used to configure the control codes for the different printer
hardware types that are in the system.
•
System Printers - Used to define the names and the print functions for the 8 printer names
that can be in a system.
•
Station Printers - Used to link physical printers to system printer names for each station.
Station Printer programming is located in 'Station Setup".
Printer Control Codes
The FS-3600 allows you to set the actual Printer Control Codes of the physical printer types you
will be using in your system. The Axhiom 7193, and the EPSON TMT88 and TMU200 control
codes are listed as examples. This program table gives you the flexibility to add new printers as
required, or edit the control codes of existing printers to control the print operations.
Control Codes are found in most printer manuals and differ from printer to
printer.
Remember that to add new or additional printers to this table you must have your
Memory Allocation setting set to accommodate the total number of Printers.
When you first select Printer Control Codes, Grid Mode will be displayed, showing you all of the
printers currently configured.
