Network services during an external call

This section amends the sections "Network services – Further network services in the fixed line net-
work" and "Network services – Further network services for VoIP" in the user guide for your Gigaset
VoIP telephone.
Some network services that were previously accessed via display keys are now provided via
the context menu. To open the pop-up menu you must press the display key
Preconditions:

Fixed line network: You have requested the following network services from your fixed
line network provider.
u
VoIP: Your phone permits two parallel VoIP connections.

The following functions are affected
u
Consultation call
During an external call via VoIP or the fixed line network:

Press the display key

External Call

Enter a number or copy it from the directory and press
The first party is placed on hold and hears hold music.

Accepting a waiting call
Precondition: Call waiting is activated (
You are conducting an external call via VoIP or the fixed line network. A second caller
(waiting call) is signalled:

Select Accept waiting call
The first party is placed on hold and hears hold music.

Initiating a conference call
You are call swapping and want to talk to both parties simultaneously:

Ending a conference call (call swapping)

Rejecting a waiting call during a VoIP call
You can now reject a waiting call while conducting a conversation via VoIP.
