Information for the
installer
The cooker should be connected to the electricity
supply by an approved electrician.
All instructions issued by the local electricity supply
company must be complied with in full.
If the cooker is connected incorrectly, subsequent
damage will not be covered by the terms of the gua
rantee.
In order to comply with the relevant safety regulations,
a circuit breaker with a contact gap of at least 3 mm
and which disconnects all poles must be installed in
the domestic wiring. This is not necessary if the
cooker is plugged into a mains socket and the plug is
readily accessible.
If the appliance is going to be plugged into a mains
socket, this must be properly earthed and have been
installed in accordance with relevant regulations.
According to the specifications for testing devices that
generate heat, this appliance conforms to Protection
Class 'X'. Please note that the cupboard units on
either side of the appliance must not be higher than
the hob.
With respect to electrical safety, the cooker has been
classified as a group I device and may only be oper
ated in conjunction with a protective earth connec
tion.
The cable used for connecting the cooker to the
mains electricity supply should be type H 05 W F or
equivalent.
