Introduction

Turning On the Power

* Once the connections have been completed (p. 7, p. 9, p. 10), turn on power to your
various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk
causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices.
1.
Turn down the volume completely on all devices.
2.
Press the POWER switch on the M-1000's front panel to turn on the power.
If the M-1000 is operating properly, the indicators should show the current
settings. If set to the default factory settings, the [INT] and [44.1kHz]
indicators light if no input or output device is connected. In other cases,
indicators show the current settings or connections.
* This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval of a few seconds is
required after power up before the unit will operate normally.

Turning Off the Power

1.
Turn down the volume completely on all devices.
2.
Press the POWER switch on the M-1000's front panel to turn off the power.
