Using the USB Extension Cable
and Clip
Use the extension cable and clip:
• When the orientation of the USB port prevents you from
inserting the Lightning directly into your laptop
• To improve the performance of your modem in areas
where the signal is weak
1. Place the Lightning into the
clip.
2. Place the clip on the top of
the laptop, with one end of
the cable attached to the USB
connector on your Lightning
and attach the other end to
the USB port on your laptop, as
shown in the illustration.
