Using the Directory and lists
To get round the alphabetical order of the
entries, insert a space or a digit in front of the
first letter of the surname. These entries will
then move to the beginning of the Directory.
Selecting a Directory entry

Open the Directory.
You have the following options:

u Use
to scroll through the entries until the
required name is selected.
u Enter the first letters of the name (max. 8), if
necessary scroll to the entry with the
The Directory searches for the surname. If a
surname has not been entered, the Direc-
tory searches for the first name.

Display the number of entries that are still
available in the Directory (¢ page 23).
Using Quick Dial keys
¤ Press and hold the required Quick Dial key
(¢ page 34).
Transferring the Directory to another
handset
Prerequisites:
u The sending and receiving handsets must
both be registered to the same base.
