The keys for the remote operation of the answering machine have the same
functions on all telephones, mobile units and tone transmitters. The "cheque
card" shows how the control commands and keys correspond and how to ini-
tiate a remote enquiry using an external telephone.
Initial operation
Dial your own number. You will hear your announcement.
+ Press the hash key and enter the answering
machine PIN.
Control the answering machine using the digit keys.
Switching on the answering machine:
Let the telephone ring for about 1 minute.
+ Press the hash key and enter the answering
machine PIN.
The answering machine switches on.
