On the base unit

You can program a 4-digit password. The factory preset is 0000. Changing the password may prevent
the unauthorised use of your unit by another person.
You need to enter this password when using the following functions:
—Setting the dialling mode (p. 15)
—Setting the pause timing (p. 39)
—Setting the earth/time break recall mode
(p. 41)
—Setting the call restriction (p. 48)
—Clearing the settings of the base unit memory
(p. 53)

Enter the new 4-digit password TWICE.
A confirmation tone sounds.
The display will return to "Setting
Base". To return to the stand-by mode,
press
C
or wait for 60 seconds.
If 5 beeps sound in step 7, the entered
password is incorrect. Enter the correct
password.
You can exit the programming mode any time
by pressing
C
.
Once you have programmed the password,
you cannot confirm it. We recommend you
write down the password. If you forget it,
please consult your nearest Panasonic
Service Centre.
