Buzzer
Button
l
- ON: Makes a sound when using the buttons.
- OFF: Turns off the button beep.
Sensor
l
- ON: Makes a sound when a sensor occurs.
- OFF: Turns off the sensor buzzer.
Motion
l
- ON: Makes a sound when a motion is detected.
- OFF: Turns off the motion buzzer.
System
l
- ON: Makes a sound when the HDD has bad sec-
tor.
- OFF: Turns off the system buzzer.
Note:
The buzzer is a low sound on this unit. If you want
to make a loud sound, connect an external alarming
device to the ALARM-OUT terminals (ex. Siren).
User
You can register a new user with various access
rights to the DVR or client program.
ID: Enter the new user ID using the virtual key-
l
board.
Level: Select the level of the new user.
l
Password: Enter or change the password for the
l
user using the virtual keyboard. You can use the
password with number, special character or charac-
ters. (Minimum 4 length, Maximum 8 length).
Note:
Remember the password. If you forget the password
please contact an authorized service center or the
store where you purchased the system.
Update
The update feature allows you to upgrade DVR soft-
ware and add/upgrade PTZ protocols. In this case,
the current DVR settings are not deleted or replaced
during the update process.
1. Select one of the following:
•
Select SYSTEM S/W to upgrade DVR system
software.
•
Select PTZ PROTOCOL to update the DVR
protocols.
2. Choose the media from which to perform the
update:
•
USB: Select USB, and then insert the USB
drive into the DVR. All USB devices must be
disconnected before you can use the USB
drive.
•
NETWORK: Select NETWORK, and then do
following:
1. Select the update server settings box. The
virtual keyboard is displayed.
2. Enter the update server IP address. The
DVR network settings must be confi gured
and you must know the update serverʼs IP
address.
3. Select Update to start the update process.
4. Select OK to begin the update process or click
Cancel to stop and exit. After the update process
is completed, the system displays the Restart the
system dialog box.
5. Click OK to restart the DVR.
