Quidway R2600/3600 Series Modular Routers
The FE interface can work at the speed of 100Mbps or 10Mbps, and can
implement auto-sensing.
The FE interface can work in full-duplex or half-duplex mode; the former is more
commonly used.
II. Arrangement of Ethernet interfaces
The interfaces of FE module should be arranged according to the following principle:
The fixed Ethernet interface of R2630/R2620/R2630E is Ethernet0, and the
interface number of the first swappable module starts from Ethernet1.
R2631/R2621/R2631E has two fixed Ethernet interfaces: Ethernet0 and Ethernet1.
The interface number of the first swappable module starts from Ethernet2. The
first Ethernet interface of the R3640/3680/R3640E/R3680E is Ethernet0.
The number of the Ethernet interface will increase in ascending order, starting
from slot 0.
In the same 2FE board, the interface sequencing is the same as that of 2FE panel.
For example, if a 1FE is plugged into slot 1 of the Quidway R2630 and 2FE is plugged
into slot 2, the number for the Ethernet interface in slot 1 is Ethernet1, and the two
Ethernet interfaces are numbered Ethernet2 and Ethernet3.
