Staple Binding

If an optional finisher (FS-134 or FS-133) and a printer controller are in-
stalled, grouped or sorted printouts from a computer can be stapled to-
gether. The type of stapling depends on the model of the finisher installed.
Note
If finisher FS-133 is installed, the pages can only be stapled in the cor-
ner.

Types of stapling

The pages are bound either with one staple in the corner (parallel or diag-
onally) or with two staples.
Whether the staple in the corner is positioned parallel or diagonally de-
pends on the orientation of the print image and the feeding direction of the
paper.
G
Corner stapling (Parallel):
The printed pages are bound with
one staple parallel to the edge of the
paper.
G
Corner stapling (Diagonal):
The printed pages are bound with
one staple diagonally in the corner
of the pages.
G
2-Point stapling (only with finisher
FS-134 installed):
The printed pages, positioned ac-
cording to the specified paper orien-
tation, are bound with two staples at
the centre, parallel to the edge of
the pages.
