Function
Attaches an optional security cable to the computer.
NOTE: The security cable is designed to act as a
deterrent, but it may not prevent the computer from being
mishandled or stolen.
Enables airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal
for the internal fan to cycle on and off during routine
operation.
Connects an AC adapter.
Connects an optional HDMI device.
Connects an external VGA monitor or projector.
Connect optional USB devices.
Connects an optional IEEE 1394 or 1394a device, such
as a camcorder.
Supports smart cards and Java™ cards.
Supports optional Type I or Type II 32–bit (CardBus) or
16–bit PC Cards.
Ejects a PC Card from the PC Card slot.
