Using the sleep timer

When the time you specify elapses, the main unit
automatically turns off.
Press [SLEEP].
• Each time you press [SLEEP], the time indicated in
the display window changes. You can set the time
to 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 or 180 minutes.
Example: Display when the sleep timer is
set to 60 minutes
Changing the remaining time
Press [SLEEP] repeatedly to select the
time again.
Confirming the remaining time
Press [SLEEP] once.
Canceling the sleep timer
Press [SLEEP] repeatedly until
"SLEEP --" appears.
Turning off the main unit cancels the sleep timer.

Changing the brightness of
the display window
■When the main unit is turned on
Press [DIMMER] repeatedly.
• Each time you press [DIMMER], the brightness
changes in 3 levels.

Locking disc ejection

You can lock the disc tray to prevent the disc from
being ejected.
Setting the disc ejection lock
■When the main unit is turned off
Hold down 0 on the main unit for one
or more seconds while holding down
7 on the main unit.
If you attempt to open the disc tray by pressing 0,
the disc tray does not open and "LOCKED"
appears in the display window.
To cancel the disc ejection lock, hold down 0 on
the main unit for one or more seconds while hold-
ing down 7 on the main unit again. "UNLOCKED"
is displayed in the display window.
