Lower Cowl Removal - Honda 2009 CBR1000RR Owner's Manual

Refer to Saf ety Precautions
The lower cowl must be removed to adjust
the clutch lever freeplay and to change the
oil filter.
Removal
1. Remove the bolt A ( ) and bolts B ( ).
2. Remove the lower cowl ( ) carefully in
the procedure shown in the illustration,
then pull out the tubes ( ).
Installation
Installation can be done in the reverse
order of removal.
Route the tubes through the opening of
the lower cowl.
