Loading Documents

Using the Platen Glass

Open the Document Cover.

Load your document on the Platen Glass.
• Place your document face down on the Platen Glass.
• Align the upper left corner of your document with the alignment mark on the upper left corner
of the Platen Glass.
• You can also scan in originals that are up to 10 mm / 0.39" thick, such as books. Set them on
the Platen Glass in the same way as documents.

Gently close the Document Cover.
