    1. INTRODUCTION Congratulations on the purchase of a high quality SportsArt product, the T672 treadmill. Constructed of high quality materials and designed for years of reliable performance, this product was made for full commercial use. Before this product is assembled or operated, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with this manual.

    After making sure the walk belt is in the correct position, adjust walk belt tension as shown in step 8. Note: If installing with the optional intergrated TV, it is recommended to read the T672 CES installation guide before proceeding.

    STEP 1 Install the Pedestals and Cowling Follow instructions below to install the pedestals and cowling. The illustration below provides an overview of this step. STEP 1 Install the Pedestals and Cowling (Continued) (a) First, remove screws (41) from motor left/right side covers (A4a,A4b).

(b) Then remove screws (44) and bottle holders (A2a, A2b) from the cowling (A2).     STEP 2 Install the Display Follow instructions below to install the display onto the cowling. The illustra- tion below provides an overview of this step. STEP 2 Install the Display (Continued) Please follow steps (a through c) to install the display cables.

    STEP 2 Install the Display (Continued) (c) At this point, inspect the lower cover on the display (A1). It must rest on the outside of the cowl- ing (A2). If it is on the inside of the cowling, please lift the display (A1) slightly, and reinstall it into the cowling (A2).

    STEP 4 Level the Treadmill Press downward on the rear part of the treadmill as shown. Inspect whether the treadmill rests flat on the floor. If the treadmill wob- bles, please ad- just treadmill lev- elers as follows: a. Loosen the lev- eler nut.

    To turn on the treadmill, press the side of the power switch with the “O” mark. An LED in the switch will light up, and the startup banner screen, showing “SPORTSART T672”, will appear on the display.

    5. UNDERSTAND THE T672 DISPLAY DISPLAY Overview The T672 display was designed to help people obtain their fitness goals simply and conveniently. Please familiarize yourself with the features of this display and thereby get optimum benefit and enjoyment from this product.

    DISPLAY Windows (Continued) PROGRAM: TRACK, RANDOM, HILL (HILL1, HILL2, HILL3), INTER- VAL (1:1, 1:2, 2:2), GLUTE, WT LOSS, CARDIO, CUSTOM HR, FIT TEST (BRUCE, GERKIN, WFI, ARMY, MARINES, NAVY, AIR FORCE, PEB) Dot matrix window: Shows the workout illustration. Message window: Shows exercise feedback, the view of which is controlled by the CHANGE DISPLAY key.

    DISPLAY Keys (Continued) GLUTE – Each time this key is pressed, one of two glute workouts will ap- pear: GLUTE 30, GLUTE 45. Numbers represent time. Glute 30 is a 30-min- ute workout. Glute 45 is a 45-minute workout. CARDIO/WT LOSS – These heart rate control programs automatically ad- just speed or incline to allow the exerciser to maintain a specific target heart rate during the workout.

    6. OPERATE THE T672 TREADMILL There are two ways to start operating this product: (1) Press the QUICK START key, or (2) press the START key. Using the QUICK START key allows you to begin exercising immediately, without first entering user information.
  • Page 24 OPERATION Workout Program Operation (Continued) To select TRACK 5K or TRACK 10K, press the ENTER key while your pre- ferred workout distance appears on display. The distance, either 5K or 10K, will automatically become the workout goal. RANDOM When the RANDOM key is selected, “RANDOM” will appear on the mes- sage window.

    OPERATION Workout Program Operation (Continued) CARDIO/WT LOSS When the CARDIO/WT LOSS key is selected, “CARDIO” will appear on the message window. Press the CARDIO/WT LOSS key to toggle as follows: CARDIO, WT LOSS. When your preferred workout appears, press the EN- TER key to confirm your choice.

    OPERATION Cool Down When an exercise goal (time or distance) is obtained, “COOL DOWN” will appear on the message window. The treadmill will enter a two-minute cool down mode. Exercise time will show “2:00”. Speed will slow to a stop within two minutes, and the incline will gradually return to the 0% position.

To do so, while exercising, simply press incline or speed keys to change the setting in the current segment. The new settings will apply to that segment thereafter. HILL There are three hill workouts, HILL 1, HILL 2, and HILL 3, each of which is represented by a different hill illustration.

Restart the unit to recover normal functions. ERROR_2_2_: IGBT excessive heat. The treadmill will operate at half speed. ERROR_2_3_: Current sensor value is too high. Wait until current returns to normal before restarting the unit.

    7. ABOUT HEART RATE DETECTION Heart rate detection functions are selected at the time of purchase. Not every product includes every type of heart rate detection device. The following explains factors that influence the performance of two of the most common types of heart rate detection devices.

    CAUTION: Heart rate detection and transmission devices have been known to interfere with the operation of pacemakers, possibly endangering human life. If you have a pacemaker, exercise under your doctor’s supervision; take a test to ensure your safety during the simultaneous use of the pacemaker and heart rate detection devices.

    MAINTENANCE Lubrication Periodic maintenance is crucial to the performance of fitness equipment, just like it is to the performance of an automobile. The better you maintain a product, the longer it will serve your needs. This treadmill requires periodic lubrication of the walk belt and has a built-in system to prevent overuse with- out maintenance.
