Recording modes on 2 hour intervals for each day are customer configurable. Selecting Factory Defaults also sets recording speed of 120 ips at 720x240 resolution. To set Schedule Recording parameters, enter SYSTEM MENU-RECORD SETUP-SCHEDULE SETUP and Press the [ENTER] button.

For CASE A, you have received a static IP from your Internet provider. That static IP address is what you must enter into the software for connectivity to take place (NOT the IP of the DVR).

As far as TCP/IP connectivity is concerned only 4 entries need to be made : For CASE B, you have received a static IP from your Internet provider.
