To fix the speed setting issue on your Tempo Fitness 611T treadmill, try the following steps:

1. Reset the Console: Hold the STOP key for 3 seconds to reset the treadmill.
2. Check Program Settings: Ensure you are in manual mode and not using a preset program that automatically adjusts speed.
3. Clear Current Selection: If a program is running, hold the STOP button for 3 seconds to clear it.
4. Inspect Quick Speed Keys: Make sure the quick speed keys are not stuck or malfunctioning.
5. Test Speed Adjustment: Manually adjust the speed using the speed buttons and observe if it stays at the set level.
6. Perform a System Check: Hold the Change Display button for 4-5 seconds to activate scan mode and check if speed settings are fluctuating.

If the issue persists, consider using the treadmill's warranty service for further troubleshooting and repairs.
