The Setup Menu; Preferences - MagicBox VIP User Manual

The disk icon will cause the VIP to reload all of the pages from the disk. Use
this for times when you have interrupted the loading process and want to
start over, or if for some reason the VIP does not initially detect the insertion
of a new disk.
The rabbit icon will take you to the setup menu. This menu is described later
in this chapter.

The Setup Menu

The setup menu allows you to change some of the settings used by the VIP
unit. The changes you make are remembered by the unit even after a power
failure.
VIP "Express" models will show an additional menu item, "Network", just
above "Preferences". This menu item is described later in this chapter.
Use the up and down arrows on the remote control to highlight a menu item.
Once the desired item is highlighted, press the Select ( ) button.

Preferences

The Preferences menu allows you to select how the VIP unit will behave
when performing certain functions.
