16.2.2.5
If a cap of the air removal valve 8 (see p.13.1, page 27) is open, the heat carrier should not run out of it. Only
air should be removed through the valve.
16.2.2.6
Set the heat carrier temperature in the heating system 50 °С. During the boiler's operating it is necessary to
look after temperature values on the display and also gas pressure value in the burner (see section 11, page 25).
When the temperature shown on display will be higher than the set one for ~ 1-2 °С, gas supply regulator 9 (see
p.13.1, page 27) should reduce gas pressure in the burner (flame height will decrease).
Before switching the boiler on, disconnect one of the cables of the modulator coil on the gas supply regulator.
An emergency code "07" will blink on the display, which signals about regulator's refusal to operate. After
eliminating the reason of boiler's emergency switching off (connecting the cable to the regulator), the boiler will
switch on automatically.
16.2.2.7
Remove the cable from the ionization plug 6 from the operating boiler (see p. 13.1, page 27). The boiler
should switch off and show the symbol "01" on display. After eliminating the reason of boiler's emergency
switching off (connecting the cable to the ionization plug) and pressing the button К6 (RESET), the boiler will
switch on automatically.
Flame detection is based on the principle of monitoring ionization current. Ionization current is measured by
micro ammeter, consequently connecting it to the circuit of the ionization plug. Optimal value of the ionization
current is 3...5 μА.
Reasons of reduced ionization current can be the following: «current leakage», bad connection with the
"ground" or wrong plugs connection ( it is necessary to replace cables of ionization and ignition plugs with each
other). Sometimes low ionization current can be caused by gas-air mixture inappropriate for requirement or
appearance of carbon deposit on the ionization plug while using a boiler.
16.2.2.8
Checking of combustion products removal control devices
Switch the boiler on, preliminary disconnect the smoke exhaust flue pipe from the smoke exhauster. Cover
the hub, mounted on the fan's hose with a metal sheet. The boiler should switch off and show the symbol "03" on
display which signals that boiler stops operating because of the draught lack in the smoke exhauster.
After eliminating the reason of boiler's emergency switching off, and also removing the blockage by means
of the button К6 (RESET),the boiler should automatically switch on. After performing such checking, it is
necessary to mount the smoke exhaust flue pipe back.
16.2.2.9
Before switching the boiler on, disconnect the cables from the CH heat carrier temperature sensor 16 (see
p.13.1, page 27) When trying to launch the boiler, it should show the symbol "05" on display which signals about
the CH temperature sensor's failure. After eliminating the reason of boiler's emergency switching off (connecting
the cables to the sensor) the boiler should automatically switch on.
In order to check the temperature sensor, measure its resistance: R=10 kOhm (at 25 °С).
16.2.2.10
Before switching the boiler on, disconnect the cables from the DHW water temperature sensor 17 (see p. 13.1,
page 27). When trying to launch the boiler in DHW mode, it should show the symbol "06"on display which
signals about the DHW temperature sensor's failure.
After eliminating the reason of boiler's emergency switching off (connecting cables to the sensor) the boiler
should automatically switch on.
In order to check the temperature sensor, measures its resistance: R=10 kOhm (at 25 °С).
16.2.2.11
Render the boiler into DHW mode (see p. 3.2.2, page 9), open the water tap on the DHW line. Remove the
cables from the DHW flow sensor 23 (see p. 13.1, page 27). The boiler should enter into the stand-by mode.
After connecting the cables back, boiler should automatically switch on.
16.2.2.12
Measure air pressure through the expansion tank's valve (nipple), located in the upper part of the expansion
tank. Air pressure should be (0,10,02) MPа. If the air pressure in the expansion tank is lower than the allowed
one, it is necessary to increase it up to the required value by the pump or using any other safe method. If the inner
membrane is damaged (when measuring the air pressure, the heat carrier comes out of the valve or air pressure
doesn't restore), it is necessary to replace the expansion tank.
16.2.3 Checking of the air inlet and combustion products output systems for air tightness
Visually check the smoke exhauster's integrity. Sags and gaps in the joints of the smoke exhauster's elements
are not allowed. Joints of the separate smoke exhauster, in the elements of which the presence of sealing rings or
cups is provided should be sealed with aluminum thermo resistant tape or any other material with similar
properties.
16.2.4 Checking of DHW water consumption
Determine maximum water flow in DHW line with a draw down gauge. Water consumption should be at least
2,5 l/min. If water flow is less than 2,5 l/min, it is necessary to clean the boiler's inlet water filter in DHW line (if
the filter is mounted). If cleaning (washing) of the secondary heat exchanger was not effectuated, it is necessary to
effectuate it (see p. 16.1.4, page 38).
