TEST / ADJUST DELIME SENSOR:
Reconnect Water-Max™ to electric power.
Remove the plastic cover from the tank, then reinstall the tank on
the tank shelf. Tank must be empty to begin test.
Insert the thermocouple of a digital thermometer approximately 6"
into the spout. Be sure thermocouple is into the silicone tube
section. Press the power switch ON. Observe the action of the
DELIME LED.
See Figure 7, page 20.
Adjust TEMP OFFSET until the water at the spout is a steady
197ºF. Allow at least 30 seconds of flow.
DELIME LED should just begin to flash as the water temp
decreases to 197ºF. If not; adjust DELIME SLOWLY until the
DELIME LED just starts to flash at 197ºF.
Re-adjust TEMP OFFSET until the water at the spout is a steady
204ºF (minimum).
Reinstall the support cover.
Turn Water-Max™ OFF. Remove the thermocouple. Drain and
remove the tank.
Reinstall the plastic cover on the tank.
Reinstall the tank on the tank shelf. Turn POWER SWITCH ON.
Observe the tank fill and water flow stop. Draw water from the
tank and allow the tank to refill several times to verify operation.
CALIBRATE DELIME INDICATOR
Dispensed water is hot. Use care
to avoid splashing or spills.
IMPORTANT: For each step or
adjustment during calibration, allow
at least 30 seconds of flow so that
water temp will have time to
stabilize.
