IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Your InDuo™ insulin doser is
designed to work accurately and
safely. The doser has built-in safety
features to help ensure that the
insulin dose injected is the dose that
has been dialled. In the unlikely
event of a malfunction, your InDuo™
insulin doser will lock to prevent you
from receiving a wrong dose.
• The InDuo™ system is tough but
could still be damaged. So handle it
with care, do not drop it and avoid
knocking it against hard surfaces.
If the InDuo™ system has been
dropped or knocked, you must carry
out a function check of the insulin
doser (see page 50) and a control
solution test (see page 14).
• Your InDuo™ system is for use by
one person only.
• The InDuo™ system contains many
parts. Keep the system, Penfill
NovoFine
out of the reach of
®
children.
• On the Penfill
label, there is a
®
coloured band that is unique to the
different types of insulin. When
Penfill
is inserted into the InDuo™
®
insulin doser, the coloured band is
visible through the slide. Before each
injection make sure that you are
using the right type of insulin by
checking that the coloured band is
the correct colour.
• If you are treated with more than
one type of insulin in Penfill
cartridges, you should use an
InDuo™ insulin doser for one insulin,
e.g. a rapid acting analogue, and an
Innovo
®
insulin doser for the other,
e.g. long acting insulin.
