An area that shows status information about the feature
in use. It also displays the name and status of the active
session.

The hard labeled keys on your telephone.
Specialized codes entered using the dial pad that enable
features, for example Automatic Wake-Up call.
A method of conversing with the party on the other end
of the line without lifting your handset.
A Fixed key on the i2004 telephone that connects to
your voice messaging system when the key is pressed.
An LCD or an LED that indicates the status of a feature
by the flash, wink, steady on, or off.
Any display of call activity, lists, prompts, and status of
calls. On the i2004 telephone this information area is a
one-line by twenty-four characters. If the text message
exceeds this area, a scroll arrow icon indicates that you
must use the scroll keys to view the remaining text.
A one-line by twenty-four character area which displays
date and time or application information.
A broken or pulsed dial tone, heard when you access
some of the features on your telephone.
