RECORDING

You can instantly record live video to your PC using Lorex Client 8.0.
NOTE: Recording does not have to be enabled on the DVR for you to record onto your PC.

To record live video:
1. From live viewing, select a DVR from the DVR Indicator list at the bottom of the main screen.
2. Click
to your PC. The RECORD button will remain light blue while Lorex Client 8.0 is recording.
3. Click RECORD again to stop. The RECORD button quickly flashes dark blue to indicate
recording has stopped.
4. By default, files are saved to
location click SETUP to open the Lorex Client 8.0 Setup menu. For more details, see "Lorex
Client 8.0 Setup" on page 42.
You can playback the recorded video files using Playback Mode in Lorex Client 8.0. For more
details, see "Local Playback" on page 53.

Remote Recording

You can start/stop all recording on your system using Remote Setup in Lorex Client 8.0. For
details, see "CONTROL" on page 66.
