Supported File Formats

High-quality digital media fi les can require a large amount
of storage space. To minimize fi le size, digital media fi les
are often compressed by using software called a codec
("compressor/decompressor"). To play the fi le, it must be
decompressed using the same codec that compressed the
fi le. To see which codecs a fi le uses, select it and then select
Properties from the menu.
