NOTE: You can also view the Battery Level in the form of a
percentage, using the File Manager application described in
Chapter 9. (Select the System Info command on the menu
in File Manager.)

Remove Programs

This feature lets you conveniently delete any programs from
your Dopod585 that you installed after purchasing it. Note
that you cannot use this feature to remove any of the core
programs that came with your Dopod585, such as Contacts,
Calendar, Internet Explorer, etc.
When you select Settings > Remove Programs from the
Start menu, the programs you have installed will be listed
in the Remove Programs screen. Select the one you want
to remove, then select Remove from the menu.
Security
Select Settings > Security from the Start menu to enable the
phone lock or SIM lock, and to set the phone lock password.
This was explained in detail in Chapter 1 (section 1.7).
Certifi cates
On your Dopod585, you can add and delete public key
certifi cates. These certifi cates help establish your identity
when you log on to a secure network, such as a corporate
network. Certifi cates also help establish the identity of
oth er computers, such as servers, with which you connect.
This helps prevent unauthorized users from accessing your
device and its information.
You can store two types of certifi cates on your Dopod585:
Personal certifi cates that establish your identity, and Root
certifi cates that establish the identity of servers with which
you connect. Your Dopod585 may include a set of pre-
installed certifi cates.
