    Power cord Operating manual Receiving digital stations To use your new DTR 4540 HDD digital recorder you need a digital outdoor or indoor antenna. Unlike analogue broadcasting, not every station has its own trans- mission frequency. Instead, several stations are grouped into what are known as bouquets on a regional or national level.

    GENERAL INFORMATION __________________ Special features of your digital recorder The DTR 4540 HDD digital recorder can receive and process all unencrypted digital stations. This digital recorder has a built-in digital recorder unit. The receiver unit converts the signals from dig- ital stations to provide outstanding audio and picture quality.

    When setting up the digital recorder, make sure it is in a horizontal posi- tion and that the mains socket is easily accessible.
