When the character for the first digit has been
selected, press the rotary switch. The first
character has been memorized at the first digit
position and the second digit position blinks.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to enter the rest of
characters. You can input up to 8 characters for
titling one radio station (or CD). To return to the
previous digit, press the F3 (BACK) button.
Pressing the F2 (NEXT) button moves to the
next character.
Pressing the F6 (RETURN) button returns to
the step 3 display above.
After titling has been completed, press the F4
(WRITE) button to store the title in memory.
To title other stations, repeat this procedure.
You can title up to 6 stations for each band. The
input titles will be displayed when a station (or
CD) titled is selected.
To end the Title Input mode, press the rotary
switch.
When the FUNC button is pressed after
pressing the rotary switch, the unit returns to
the radio mode display.
Notes:
If the memory capacity for radio
station titles is full and titling cannot
be performed, older titles must be
erased to make room for the new
ones. Refer to "Deleting Titles" on
next page, then input a new title.
If the memory capacity for CD titles is
full, the display shows "FULL."
In this case, press and hold the
Function button (F1 through F6) that
has the CD title you want to delete for
at least 2 seconds. Then input a new
title.
If an incorrect character has been
entered, select the (blank) menu in
the bottom menu and input it following
the above procedure.
If the battery cable is disconnected or
Automatic Memory of station Preset is
carried out, the memorized titles may
be erased.
