Click the Data Security tab to enable/disable the 64-bit/128-bit WEP encryp-
tion:
By default WEP encryption is enabled (at 128-bit encryption). To change the
WEP encryption:
Select the desired WEP encryption level (64-bit or 128-bit).

Enter a WEP key of your choice. In the case of:

64-bit encryption
The 40-bits WEP key must consist of 10 hexadecimal digits.
128-bit encryption
The 104-bits WEP key consists of 26 hexadecimal digits.
Note
Click Apply to apply the WEP encryption settings.

Reconfigure your wireless client(s) to use the changed settings.

To ensure the highest level of security, you may change the wireless settings
on a regular basis. However, never use obvious keys.
View the current Access Control List. Via this table you can also manually add or
delete wireless clients and configure whether wireless clients are allowed to
participate in the SpeedTouch™ wireless IP environment or not.
To enable/disable the registration button, select/clear Use Register button for regis-
tration:
If registration is enabled, the following table is shown:
Clicking the Register button triggers the SpeedTouch™ to unlock the access
control list for a maximum time frame of one minute. The first new wireless
client successfully attempting to associate with the SpeedTouch™ (having
the correct wireless settings (Network Name and, if required, Network
key)) will be added to the table as allowed station, after which the access
control list is immediately locked again.
