Remove the right fairing (see page 67).
Unscrew the filler plug (3, fig. 60) and add a mixture
consisting of water and antifreeze SHELL Advance Coolant
or Glycoshell (35÷40% of the volume) up to MAX mark.
Refit the filler plug (3) and reassemble all removed parts.
This mixture improves operating conditions (coolant will start
freezing at –20 °C/- 4 °F).
Cooling circuit capacity: 4 cu. dm (litres).
Thermostat begins to open at 65°C ±2°C.
Fan switches on at 102°C.
Fan switches off at 100°C.
Warning
Place the motorcycle upright on a flat surface and
make sure the engine is cold before proceeding.
