Press the red open flash button on the remote control. The red upper LED on the
left of the open flash button will come 'ON' briefly and then go 'OFF' as the green,
lower LED comes 'ON'. The remote open flash is now ready to use. The red LED
will flash whilst the green ready LED is 'ON' indicating top up of the remote control
storage capacitor. This is normal.
Press the red remote control open flash button and the Generator will fire. NOTE:
All Generators with the photocell (Slave) turned on will be fired from the remote
open flash regardless of channel (code) selected on the transmitter or receiver.
The remote open flash can be used as long as the green LED is 'ON',
(approximately 6 minutes from when last used). If the green LED goes out press
the red 'Sync.' button to restart (see above) (Auto switch off to preserve battery
life).
If the red LED stays on all the time .The remote control battery needs replacing
USE ONLY ALKALINE TYPE BATTERY. EXAMPLE: DURACELL MN-1604.
The remote 'Sync.' can be triggered from the camera by connecting the 'Sync.'
lead provided from the camera to the Sync socket on the side of the remote
control (Figure 6).

To set the remote control
transmitter channel (code) number
slide the channel number selector
switch to the required indicated
number (Figure 6).
When the same number is
selected on both remote
transmitter and Generator receiver
all the Generator control functions
can be set from the remote
transmitter.
Several Generator receivers may
be set to the same channel
number and controlled together, or
up to six Generator receivers can
be set to different channels, and
controlled separately from a single
transmitter.
To use the 'Open Flash' (
the remote control transmitter the
Generator Photocell must first be
switched 'ON'. This can, of course,
be set from the remote control.
