Wiper – reversing
Engaging reverse gear while the windscreen
wipers are on initiates intermittent rear win-
dow wiping 2 . The function stops when
reverse gear is disengaged.
If the rear window wiper is already on at con-

tinuous speed, no change is made.
NOTE
On cars with rain sensor, the rear window
wiper is activated with reversing, if the
sensor is activated and it is raining.
This function (intermittent wiping when reversing) can be deactivated. Visit a workshop. Volvo recommends that you contact an authorised Volvo workshop.
