Please comply with these instructions. If you do not, any damage re-
sulting is not covered by the warranty.
Correct use
• This appliance should be used only for normal domestic cooking and
frying of food.
• The appliance must not be used as a work surface or as a storage sur-
face.
• Additions or modifications to the appliance are not permitted.
Gas/electrical safety
• This appliance must only be connected by a qualified electrician. Be-
fore installation and using for the first time, the operating and instal-
lation instructions are to be followed.
• The appliance must only be installed in accordance with the regula-
tions in force and only in a well ventilated, sufficiently large room. If
in doubt, speak to your installer.
• In the event of faults with the appliance or damage to the burner or
the glass ceramic (cracks, scratches, splits), switch off the appliance,
shut off gas supply. Do not use the appliance if damaged!
• If away from home for a long time: shut off mains gas supply.
• Repairs to the appliance must only be carried out by a qualified
service engineers. Considerable danger may result from improper re-
pairs. If repairs become necessary, please contact our Customer Care
Department or your dealer.
Child safety
• Small children must be kept away from the appliance.
• Only let older children work on the appliance under supervision.
