    Operating the appliance Important Each time before switching on make sure that the burner crown and burner cover are lying straight on the burner body. If burner crown and burner cover are lying crookedly, the gas flame does not burn evenly and it can cause damage to the burner cover.

    Switching the appliance on and off 1. Turn the ring switch to the left to maximum power 2. Press the ring switch in firmly, until the gas has ignited. After a success- ful ignition hold the ring switch de- pressed for about 5 seconds. If the flame should go out, repeat the ig- nition process.
