Spectralink 7710, 7720, 7740 User Guide

Alerting Volume

Alerts are short beeps that appear when:
You receive a new message.
You send a message.
The handset is moving out of range.
The handset is out of range.
The battery capacity is low.
You create a login.
To adjust alerting volume:
Press Menu to enter main menu.

Scroll to Settings and press Select.

Scroll to Alerting volume and press Select.

Press the left or right side of the navigation key to adjust the alerting volume.

Press Set.

You cannot set the vibrator to work with alerts.

Vibrator (not available on 7710)

When vibrator is turned on, the handset vibrates when an incoming call arrives. The handset does
not vibrate when you receive a message or when the handset is charging.
To turn vibrator on/off:
Press Menu to enter main menu.

Scroll to Settings and press Select.

Scroll to Vibrator and press Select.

Scroll to On or Off and press Change.

Silent Mode

When silent mode is turned on, the handset does not ring when a call arrives. However, you will
still be able to see the arriving call in the display.
To turn silent mode on/off:
Press Menu to enter main menu.
