Note: If these buttons are pressed while trying to change the fan speed of an indoor unit which is not
equipped with a fan speed adjustment setting, the fan speed display flashes and the unit's fan speed
does not change.
K Operation Mode Selection Button
This button is used to select the operation mode.
*1 Some indoor unit models don't have this function. If not, the display above will not be shown.
*2 It is only displayed when slim models are operated simultaneously with ventilation unit.
✩ Use MA or centralized remote controllers to set other functions (e.g. air flow direction) which cannot be set
with this controller.
This product is designed and intended for use in residential, commercial or light-industrial environment.
The product at hand is base on the following EU regulations:
• Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336/EEC

Temperature Range Setting

This function allows to set temperature adjustment range (higher/lower limit).
1 Press the I [ON/OFF] button to stop the air conditioner.
2 Press the J [Fan Speed Adjustment] button for 3 seconds or longer to set the temperature range. (L or M
will be displayed.)
3 Press the I [ON/OFF] button to set the temperature range L ~ O in each operation mode.
L No temperature range setting ⇒ M Temperature range in the cooling/dry mode ⇒ N Temperature
range in the heating mode ⇒ O Temperature range in the Auto mode* ⇒ L No temperature range setting
* When the Auto mode skip is off, O temperature range in the Auto mode is not displayed.
L No temperature range setting:
M Temperature range in the cooling/dry mode: Temperature setting range in the cooling/dry mode
N Temperature range in the heating mode:
O Temperature range in the Auto mode:
4 To change the temperature setting range in the cooling/dry, heating, and Auto mode, perform the procedures
of 5 and 6.
5 Press the J [Fan Speed Adjustment] button to switch the setting between higher limit [Hi] and lower limit
[Lo].
6 Press the D [TEMP. (
• Temperature can be adjusted within the Temperature setting range.
• Pressing the D [TEMP. (
