This setting controls whether the volume of the Head Unit is automatically muted
during voice guidance.
Either muting or attenuation is selectable for the guide voice of the head unit when
a mute signal has been received from a cell phone connected to the head unit.
Press repeatedly to switch between the following settings:
MUTE (muting) – ATT (attenuation) – NORMAL (no attenuation)
Car navigation audio (guidance) can be output from the front speakers.
 
LEFT + RIGHT – LEFT – RIGHT
Normally, the FM tuning step is set at 50 kHz during seek tuning, however, it changes
to 100 kHz when the AF or TA function is on.
You can set the FM tuning step to 50 kHz even when the AF or TA function is on.
50K 50 kHz
100K 100 kHz
The FM tuning step remains set at 50 kHz during manual tuning.
The tuning step returns to 100 kHz if the battery is temporarily disconnected.
The warning tone sounds to remind you to detach the front panel. (Refer to page 7.)
You can turn the warning tone function on or off.
"ON" appears in the display.
Press again to turn the warning tone off.
This unit's PREOUT (rear speaker leads output and RCA rear output) can be used for
full-range speaker or subwoofer connection. If you switch the PREOUT setting to the
subwoofer, you can connect a rear speaker lead directly to a subwoofer without using
an auxiliary amp.
If you connect a subwoofer to the rear output, set the output setting to "SW".
Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you switch the subwoofer
output on (refer to "Using subwoofer output" on page 50).
Both rear speaker leads output and RCA rear output are switched simultaneously in
this setting.
