6. In the Hint field, type in a word or short phrase that will help you
remember your password in case you forget it. Click OK.
7. You will see a message telling you to unplug and plug in the
device. Click OK, then unplug and plug in the USB cable con-
nected to your computer.
In this instance, you do not need to unmount the Drive before dis-
connecting the USB cable.
. The login window will appear. Enter your password and click OK.
After a few moments the HD partition will mount.

Disabling Password Security

You can disable Password Security at any time. Doing so will not
affect any data stored on your Drive.
1. In order to change the password, the Drive must be connected to
your computer and powered on. (See "Connecting the Drive to
Your Computer" for instructions.)
. If you have not yet logged in, or if this is your first time using
Password Security, the SecureHD Login window should be on
the screen. Click on the Options button.
If you are already logged in, double-click the CD PART icon in My
Computer. In the CD PART icon window, double-click PWMangr.exe.
